About Us

The Canal Turn is a Public House originally called the Canal Tavern, it's name changed to the Station Inn on completion of the railway in 1839.

The old building was demolished in 1929 when the current building was built 30 yards away as the Moon Hotel. The Canal Turn Public House has just undergone a major refurbishment (July 2018) relaunching itself as a food led family pub. It is a large suburban style public house with a dog friendly bar, lounge/restaurant and a function room.
